My last set of mini sessions were so popular, that I just had to run another day – terrible I know haha. I just adore these sessions. I generally only put word out on my facebook business page, and the places are snapped up. So if you’re on fb, make sure you like my page to keep up with any special session announcements as soon as they are made, or email me at katie@katietolandphotography.com.au if you’d like to be placed on a wait list so I can let you know the details of mini sessions or special offers as they come up.
First up from this round of mini sessions was the ever so adorable Quinn and Liam. I photographed them both as newborns, and it’s so lovely to have them back in front of my camera to capture them as they grow.

April 26, 2013Emma and Shaun’s beautiful family. Spencer first captured my heart when I photographed him at about 6 month old. I think I fall in love with every child I photograph, and every family I meet. They come in the door as clients, and leave as friends. I truly do feel blessed to have a job like this where I not only get to photograph gorgeous families, I get to do it again and again over the years and watch as these beautiful babies grow into happy fun loving, energetic and cheeky kids.

I love to let the natural moments unfold infront of my camera. From the way a mummy will snuggle her newborn to calm him, the way a baby will crawl away mid shot or a toddler will take off running. Those perfectly imperfect moments. I never get frustrated by them (I wouldn’t work with children and babies if I did!), I embrace them, I adore them. The expressions of love and surprise that follow are usually some of my favourite images. Liked this one below of Evie, giggling as she headed straight to her mummas warm arms. Perfect.

April 20, 2013Meet Blake. I photographed his mummy and daddy a few weeks ago, just before he arrived. And at six days old he came into the studio with his two big brothers. This is one lucky little boy, blessed with such a beautiful family to love and guide him through his life. Blake, thank you for the snuggles. I loved getting my baby fix.

I’m excited to share a sneak peek of Warwick and Tash’s gorgeous wedding. They were married on their farm at Mirboo North, followed by their reception in town. I love it when a couple make their day truly about them and their lives, and not just follow tradition or do something because it’s the norm. Tash adores her horses, and her sweet little daughter Jane is following in mummy’s footsteps, growing up on and around them. So of course horses had to be a big part of their day. The girls all rode in on horseback, to their beautiful, emotional ceremony with amazing views. Afterwards we wandered around the farm for some photos, before heading into town to their reception. Warwick and Tash, thank you for letting me a part of your day, capturing your memories for you xx
