Tania, John and Taylor came along to my recent mini session day and had some maternity photos taken, which are just a few posts prior. Just a few days later baby Thomas joined the family. Taylor is in her element as big sister. Such a little mummy, it’s beautiful to see the bond she has already developed with her little brother. He’s one lucky little boy who is sure to be looked after for the rest of his life.

Congratulations Tania and John, he’s just beautiful. Thank you for brining him in to meet me.

Caleb’s mummy must have had a sixth sense that his arrival was about to happen. Only a few hours after hanging up the phone to me, organising his newborn session, labour started! Caleb and his mummy and daddy came to visit me last week. He was such a good little boy and let me take *a lot* of photos of  him. I warned his mummy she was going to end up with a lot of photos to choose from! Try as I might to narrow down their gallery it still ended up huge, and therefore their sneak peek is also huge. So be warned, following is a very image heavy post! But I think you’ll agree, that I just couldn’t narrow down any more. And I doubt there are really any complaints, don’t we all just love  newborn photos.

C&S it was lovely to meet you and your beautiful new son . Congratulations!

I’ve been meaning to share some photos of the beautiful products I supply for ages, and I’m finally getting around to it. I’ve spent a lot of time over the years researching and sampling many, products and suppliers to make sure that I’m 100% happy with those I offer. While I absolutely LOVE photographing and interacting with babies, children and families and meeting gorgeous new friends every week, I equally LOVE handing over your beautiful memories knowing that they not only look wonderful for you to share with your friends and family, but also that they will be protected and preserved for many, many years to come.

So first up, the Gallery Album. These are gorgeous. They are made to your specifications. You can choose the cover from a huge range of fabrics and leathers, and also choose whether you’d like black or white pages.

Storybooks. These are all made to suit your individual needs. The hard cover can feature one of your favourite photos from your session. The pages are thick and one of the things I love most about them, is the special binding, allowing the book to open up and lay flat, so you can see your whole image, and not loose part of your photo down into the spine of the book, or feel like you have to bend the book to see it all.

These are one of my very favourite things at the moment. One of your images from your session is printed onto the box, and then inside are 15 more images, all matted and ready to pop into a frame. It gives you so much freedom to alternate  your display images, while still being able to store and flip through the rest. The actual box is an amazing canvas artwork itself and looks stunning stood on a table, mantle or shelf. It’s hard to tell scale here, but this is huge too. Did I mention I love it?

Cards, invitations, birth announcements… you name it, it can be made. They not only look beautiful, but make life so much easier too!

I’ve lost my iPhone!! We’ve turned the house, car and studio upside down three times over and there’s not a single sign of it. So I’m now uncontactable by phone until we get this little situation fixed up asap. Please email me if you need to contact me and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
Thanks
KT

I recently had the pleasure of meeting all of the staff from Harcourts Real Estate’s Frankston branches to photograph them all for their profile photos. Led by amazing and inspiring Tanja, they are such a great team of friendly people, it was a pleasure to meet them all. Although they each received a set of their own profile images, here’s a large group shot of them all together.

Charlotte

February 27, 2010

Sweet little Charlotte. Oh my goodness she was all sweetness. I was so happy when I found out Marni was expecting another precious little bub, and excited when she contacted me to capture Charlotte’s newborn photos. This is another family I have loved photographing quite a few times now. Taylah was about 7 I think the first time she came to me for photos. She has the sweetest nature. Not long after I photographed her the first time, Liam started school at the same school and his classroom was just across the hall from Taylah’s. Each day as we’d go in to drop off or pick up Liam we’d see Taylah. She was a little besotted with Ethan who was only one at the time and I remember feeling very honoured when Taylah would ask if she could have a cuddle from me too. That’s just the pure, sweet and loving nature she has. So as you can imagine, she is in her element to have a new baby sister all of her own, and she’s such a good big sister!

Now Miss Charlotte, sweet as she is, made me work for some sleepy shots! I even made Marni and Rowan late for their lunch date (so sorry guys!!). The wait was worth it though, as once she finally did nod off into a nice deep sleep, she was putty in my hands.

Marni and Rowan, congratulations again on your sweet new baby girl. Thankyou for trusting me to capture her early days, She’s just divine. I hope she’s being good to you. I’ll be in touch very soon with your full gallery details. x

Amber contacted me a few weeks ago to enquire about a big family session for her mum’s birthday very soon, and what better gift than a photography session with all of the people she loves. I had an absolute ball with these guys. Such a fun loving and connected family. I forget sometimes how easy it is to photograph adults! No running around for starters. We captured A LOT of gorgeous images, it was hard to slim down the gallery – so I didn’t really.

Helen, I hope you have a wonderful birthday!  You have a beautiful family, and every reason to be so very proud of them all. I will be in touch very soon with your gallery details, but for now, here’s a little sneak peek.

Update…

January 8, 2010

Trying not to count my chickens before they hatch, but I think we may be back up and running again!! The switch from PC to Mac has been, well, different and I admit I’ve wanted to tear my hair out a few times. The most frustrating thing so far is that I feel like I’m working at snails pace as everything is in different places, but I’m getting there. Feel free to cross your fingers for me that I’m over most of the bumps.

I just want to thank all of my beautiful clients once again for being so patient. I am working like a busy little bee to get through all sessions and will have your galleries up as soon as I can.
And, stand by for January’s Photo A Day. A personal project I undertake each January :)

Happy new year!!

December 31, 2009

Gosh what an end to 2009. Right in the middle of the chaos of getting christmas orders out my poor beloved although fairly old computer caught a virus and although it was removed unfortunatly all was not good and it has pretty much died. I did manage to get all pre Christmas orders out thankfully, and I have all photos backed up and safe but unfortunatly I am unable to get any work done until my new computer arrives and according to Apple there are none in Australia at the moment and it may be up to a three week wait. Obviously I’m hoping it will be sooner but it’s really out of my hands at the moment. Perhaps it’s a sign that I’m supposed to switch off and have a little break with the family?

I can still receive emails (and blog text only now that I’ve downloaded an app) via my iPhone. I am also ok to still take sessions I have booked, there will just be a delay in getting your galleries ready.

I wanted to do my annual photo-a-day for January but not sure if I’ll be able to. May have to make it for feb instead and feb isn’t as much fun as Jan with so much going on.

Anyway after this little hicup I’m hoping 2010 is a fabulous year for everyone and wish you all the very best for a healthy and prosperous new year. xxKT

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Chris and Christie capturing their long awaited wedding day!! To say Christie looked gorgeous is an understatement. Every little detail of their day was so well thought through and well, just beautiful. I know they are busting to see some photos, so here is a quick sneak peek.

Chris and Christie, thankyou so much for trusting me to capture your memories of your special day. Congratulations and all my very best wishes for your future together.
