Happy new year!!

December 31, 2009

Gosh what an end to 2009. Right in the middle of the chaos of getting christmas orders out my poor beloved although fairly old computer caught a virus and although it was removed unfortunatly all was not good and it has pretty much died. I did manage to get all pre Christmas orders out thankfully, and I have all photos backed up and safe but unfortunatly I am unable to get any work done until my new computer arrives and according to Apple there are none in Australia at the moment and it may be up to a three week wait. Obviously I’m hoping it will be sooner but it’s really out of my hands at the moment. Perhaps it’s a sign that I’m supposed to switch off and have a little break with the family?

I can still receive emails (and blog text only now that I’ve downloaded an app) via my iPhone. I am also ok to still take sessions I have booked, there will just be a delay in getting your galleries ready.

I wanted to do my annual photo-a-day for January but not sure if I’ll be able to. May have to make it for feb instead and feb isn’t as much fun as Jan with so much going on.

Anyway after this little hicup I’m hoping 2010 is a fabulous year for everyone and wish you all the very best for a healthy and prosperous new year. xxKT

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Chris and Christie capturing their long awaited wedding day!! To say Christie looked gorgeous is an understatement. Every little detail of their day was so well thought through and well, just beautiful. I know they are busting to see some photos, so here is a quick sneak peek.

Chris and Christie, thankyou so much for trusting me to capture your memories of your special day. Congratulations and all my very best wishes for your future together.

Are these two the most beautiful sisters ever! Charli was so sweet and tender with her new delicate baby sister. Some of these shots just made me melt.

Thanks so much Nat for bringing the girls over. KT

Amelia’s new summer hat. Cute hey :)
When I look at these, I think she may just have my mouth. There may just be a little bit of me in her after all.

Just look at how much Mia’s big brothers just adore her. Their love for her just shines through. Their mum just wanted them captured just as they are, the way they interact, the connections between them, just them, as they are right now. They were cheeky, and full of life, they were sweet and silly and all the things little kids should be. All the things I love about working with kids. I loved spending the morning with them.

Thanks Suzanne and Jason for bringing your beautiful family over. Will be in touch with your gallery details very soon. KT

Two gorgeous little guys I had the pleasure of meeting last week.

I just adore this first one of Oliver chomping on his (very gorgeous) sling with those beautiful big blue eyes peeking over the top :)

Sweet little Blake entered the world a few weeks before he was supposed to, so had to have a hospital stay, but finally came home to his beatiful mummy and daddy. He was so, so tiny, and curly and (eventually) sleepy. Isn’t he just beautiful.

Was such a pleasure to meet you all, and spend the morning with your sweet little man. I will have your full gallery details for you very soon.
