I recently had the pleasure of meeting all of the staff from Harcourts Real Estate’s Frankston branches to photograph them all for their profile photos. Led by amazing and inspiring Tanja, they are such a great team of friendly people, it was a pleasure to meet them all. Although they each received a set of their own profile images, here’s a large group shot of them all together.

March 29, 2010Joe + Abby | Mt Buller wedding photography
March 23, 2010Little bit of a busy week here. We headed off for Mt Buller on the weekend to photograph the beautiful wedding of Joe and Abby. It was an amazing weekend in such a beautiful part of our country. I’ve almost finished processing a commercial job, and then I’ll be getting stuck into their wedding images, but I couldn’t resist posting just one little sneak peek. I will be back with more in the next few days.

Will & Mia | Mornington Peninsula family photography
March 18, 2010This little family is one of my very favourites – and there’s good reason for that. These gorgeous little munchkins, Will and Mia, are my very much loved niece and nephew. Their daddy Justin is my big brother and their mummy Sharnie one of the best sister-in-laws anyone could ask for. And this little session has been planned and attempted many times over the past year. We set one date, and had to reschedule for weather, then there were chicken pox, sick kids, more bad weather…. you get the idea. So when we drew Justin and Sharnie for our family Kris Kringle, their gift was an easy choice. The lead up to our chosen date the weather was beautiful with clear skies and warm weather – probably too warm some days. But once again the day before their shoot the heavens opened and the rain poured down. We decided regardless of the weather we were going ahead, even if we had to change locations. We met EARLY on the beach and had such a great time playing. The weather played along nicely for us. Just as we were finishing the drizzle started. Then the rain set in. Lots of it (remember the day Melbourne flooded?!)
Thank you J&S for a great morning. And thankyou Will and Mia for being your beautiful selves and letting me capture that. xx

Christmas gift | Mornington Peninsula family photography
March 17, 2010Just before Christmas Nick contacted me to organise a voucher for his mum for Christmas, and I couldn’t wait to meet them all. We met up first for some studio shots, before heading out to the local park for some relaxed, candid and fun photos. And fun they were. This family is a whole lot of fun. Warm, funny, connected and sweet. I just adore photographing families and feel so blessed that they feel relaxed enough around me (even with a camera in their faces) to be themselves, and let me in to capture that love and connection between them all. It really is an honour. I hope you all love your full gallery as much as I do.

Those beads.
March 15, 2010Majority of photos of Amelia on here, she’s wearing her beads. She pretty much wears them full time. I have been asked so, so many times what they are and why she wears them, and I very often get side tracked before answering. So, here’s the answer. It’s a baltic amber teething necklace. I bought it here, but you can google and find a lot of online stores that stock them. There’s a bit more info on how it works here and there’s A LOT more if you google if interested (I just did a very quick google to find that). But in short as her skin warms the amber, oils are released and absorbed into her body which help with the pain associated with teething. I have to admit I was a bit sceptic at first, but thought it had to be better than constantly putting teething gel in her mouth, and worth a try, but we’ve really found it helpful. The added bonus is that it looks cute too
Ahh she melts my heart xx
Ethan & Amelia
March 4, 2010It’s late. So very late. I have not been to bed before 2am for the past two weeks. I’ve been working like a busy little bee to get through everything. Editing, fixing, making changes, making more changes, creating albums, ordering goodies. And that’s just the work stuff… the mummy side is just as busy with parent teacher interviews, school information nights, swimming lessons and another trip up to Royal Childrens for Amelia’s checkup (which is a whole other post iteself). But busy is good!
It’s been a few days since I posted here though, so just wanted to share some pics of my two littlest chickens haveing a ball, playing peek-a-boo under my doona, and being cheeky – and making a wee bit of noise while they’re at it. Bless their cute little tooshies. Amelia is such a little cuddle bum. She just can’t get enough of snuggling up to people and was in a very cuddly mood with Ethan. And he of course didn’t mind one bit.
Enjoy… I”m off to bed
