Meet Olivia (left) and Collins (right) at 14 days. Completely gorgeous in every way. There is something so magical about twins, about having someone right by your side from the very beginning. They told me Collins was the fidgety one… but she ended up being the one who slept the whole time. But Olivia was just as peaceful, just awake – for some of the time anyway.

Thanks Mog and Dean, I loved meeting your girls!

I photographed Joe and Abby’s wedding last year, and I was very excited when Abby called to tell me they would be needing newborn photos. Both Abby and Joe are so calm, and Amber is every bit the same. Such a beautiful, calm, placid baby. I adored spending my morning with them all.

Meet Layla. So calm and placid, awake or asleep. Just perfect. I had a really lovely time with Layla’s session. She’s a precious little girl, with a beautiful family who all just adore her. An absolute pleasure to photograph. Thanks Sacha for brining her in to meet me, I loved my cuddles!

Jo and Stewart travelled back to Melbourne for their wedding, from their home in NSW, to be surrounded by their friends and family on their special day. In true Melbourne style, Melbourne turned on the weather – the rain set in, and the mist and clouds hung over the city as the boys gathered together at the Langham Hotel at Southbank, but the weather did nothing to dampen their spirits.

As the girls prepared at Jo’s parents house in Parkdale, the rain stopped, the clouds started to lift, and patches of blue sky started to peek through. But the girls were so happy, and so relaxed. A few clouds and a bit of rain were not going to spoil the day.

As family and friends began to gather at The Gables, Jo and her bridesmaids buzzed about, adding the final finishing touches and sipping on bubbles. And finally it was time.

I’m sure Jo’s dad has never looked prouder than he did, walking his beautiful daughter down the aisle. And the look on Stewarts face said more than words ever could. Quite simply, he was the luckiest man alive, and Jo glowed with happiness as she stood with her ‘one’ and spoke their vows in front of their loving family and friends.

Afterwards we wandered around the grounds of The Gables, capturing some gorgeous images in the last of the evenings light.

wedding photographer the gablesJo and Stewart I wish you a life time of happiness. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing your day with me.

It’s always lovely to have families come back for more photos, and I love to see how much babies have grown over the years. I’m very lucky to have captured families from their newborn babies, through to their school years. I love it. But when a family moves away, and still makes a big trip back to have their photos done again, I am honoured. Rebecca and Brendon made the move from Bayside to Ocean Grove, and I feel so privileged to have been able to spend the afternoon with them, capturing their beautiful little family. I first photographed Charlie at about 10months of age, and he has grown into such a gorgeous little boy. This was my first time meeting Holly, and she is truly adorable. Rebecca and Brendon, you have a gorgeous family, thank you for allowing me to capture you all. leading family photographer mornington peninsula, family portraits

A few months ago I donated a voucher to a fundraiser for a gorgeous little local girl Amelia (great name huh!) You can read more about Amelia, her family and her journey at her facebook page here. A beautiful mummy named Raelene, with two of the spunkiest and fun boys around, Will and Daniel, purchased the voucher, and lucky me got to spend a perfect Saturday morning at the beach with them and their cousin. Best job ever? You bet!

Raelene, thank you so much for helping me support Amelia’s Project, and for letting me meet your beautiful boys, and capture this amazing time of their lives. I hope you love your sneak peek, your full gallery details will be on their way to you very soon.family photos and portraits on the beach mornington peninsula

Sweet, sweet Evie is the newest little addition to my lovely friends Maggie and Travis’s little girl tribe. She has two beautiful big sisters, (who have been in front of my camera many times) who think she is just wonderful and are very happy she’s theirs to keep.leading newborn photographer mornington peninsula melbourne

I know Christie is busting to see a sneak peek of her newest little man Campbell’s session, and I was busting to share them. Campbell was such a sweet, contented and easy going little guy for his session, and didn’t mind his big brother Coby doting on him one little bit. Campbell sure is one lucky and loved little guy. Thanks Chris and Christie, hope you love your sneak peek. Will have your full gallery ready for you very soon.mornington peninsula's leading newborn photographer

A few more photos of my littlest poppet at play. She had a farm animal theme happening for two weeks. I dyed a tub of rice green and she’d been using it to scoop and pour a few days earlier. It also made good grass for her animals too though, and she loved to hide them in the rice and then find them again. To dye rice, I just pour some rice into a tupperware container, drop in some food colouring, put the lid on and give it a shake. Take the lid off to let it dry for a while, and you’re good to go. Amelia just plays with it on the deck and I just sweep it off the side when she’s done.

We have lots of books with farm animals in them. She loves them all, but particularly loves “Freddy’s farm”, which was an old book of Liam’s, and “What colour are your knickers”.

We matched up the farm animals with those in the books…

And we played with cutting fruit…

In true Melbourne style we had four seasons in one day when Natalie and Adrian were married at St Macartans Parish in Mornington followed by their reception at Stillwater at Crittenden winery. There were times when it rained, when the sun shined brightly, and there was plenty of blustery wind to go around. But all in all it was a gorgeous day, for a gorgeous couple and their beautiful family and friends. Natalie and Adrian, I  loved sharing your special day with you, I hope you love your sneak peek. Your full gallery will be in it’s way to you very soon. x
