Jess and Gareth were married at Mount Buller on Saturday. Their plans were originally for a ceremony at Koflers Hutte at the summit, but as the cloud rolled in thick on Friday night (and I mean THICK, we were trying to drive up the mountain in it!), they made the call to change location to the gorgeous little chapel on the mountain. Their wedding was simply divine in every way. The girls spent the morning preparing for the wedding in the beautiful Howqua Suite at the Mount Buller Chalet, while the boys got ready in another beautiful room just down the hall. Jess had spent months organising all the little details, and it showed. Every little detail imaginable had been thought of.
And of course there is Jess and Gareth themselves. What can I say. They are a truly beautiful couple. I had actually not been able to meet up with Jess in person at all until I turned up at her room to photograph them, which kind of made me a little nervous – what I they thought I was a big dork – which I admit I am hahaa. But I need not have worried. Both Jess and Gareth, as well as their family and their friends are just beautiful people to be around. And when they are together they both just glow with happiness. I love the way they look at each other, the way they speak to each other, the way they laugh together – and at each other
They really made my job so easy, and I feel very privileged to be chosen to capture their precious memories of their amazing day.
I tried to narrow down their photos for a sneak peek, but ended up with 181 favourites. So I narrowed down again, and again, and again. And then just decided to split them over two posts. So check back tomorrow night to see more favourites of the rest of their wedding day.
Jess and Gareth, thank you for sharing yourselves and your hearts with me. xx
