I was so excited when Danni told me bubby #2 was on the way. I photographed Tor and Danni’s wedding last year (HERE) and feel so privileged to be asked to capture this amazing time in their little families lives. I’m sure Maxx will be a wonderful big brother to his new baby brother or sister in a few weeks time. Thanks Danni and Tor for coming in to see me, it was so lovely to catch up with you all again. x
Yes I had three amazing and gorgeous maternity sessions all in one weekend. Lucky me! I honestly feel so privileged to be chosen to capture this amazing and fleeting time in a couples life. Every single maternity session I do, leaves me feeling in awe of the human body. It really is an amazing and beautiful time, although fleeting. Meet the gorgeous Nyssa and her man Rob. This little person is going to be born into a beautiful home with such a wonderful mummy and daddy. They are sweet and gentle and caring and a lot of fun. Pregnancy will always amaze me. Even after carrying three of my own babies I will never tire of the amazing miracle of new life forming and how our bodies adapt and change to protect and provide for our cherished little ones as they form and grow. It amazes me, that 8 or 9 months ago this little person didn’t exist, and now here they are, almost ready to meet the world, with every little body part perfectly formed and a spirit of their own.
Claire’s beautiful sisters organised her maternity session as a surprise for her baby shower. They came along with her, and it we had a great time in the studio capturing this little miracle in his or her last weeks on the inside.
